What is Barcode Decoder?
The Barcode Decoder reads machine-readable barcodes straight from images in your browser. Drop in a photo of a product label, package or ticket and the ZXing engine identifies the format β EAN-13, UPC-A, Code 128, Code 39, ITF, Codabar, QR Code and more β then extracts the encoded value and validates the check digit where one applies.
Key Benefits
- Private by design: images are decoded locally and never uploaded
- Wide format coverage for retail, warehouse and event-ticketing barcodes
- Check-digit validation catches damaged or misread codes
- Free and unlimited with no account or watermark
Common Use Cases
- β’Verifying a product code printed on packaging before listing it online
- β’Reading inventory or asset tags from photos taken in a warehouse
