How to Read and Write NFC Tags
- Check Device Compatibility: Ensure you have an NFC-enabled device (Android phone with NFC) and a compatible browser (Chrome for Android).
- Open the Tool: Navigate to the NFC Tag Reader/Writer tool in your browser on an HTTPS connection.
- Prepare Your Data: Enter the data you want to write: a URL, text message, or JSON data. Keep it within the tag's storage limit (usually 137-888 bytes).
- Select Write Mode: Choose "Write" mode and click the "Write to Tag" button. The browser will request NFC permission.
- Hold Tag Near Device: Hold your NFC tag close to the back of your phone/device. Maintain proximity until writing completes.
- Verify and Test: Switch to "Read" mode and tap the tag to verify the data was written correctly. The tag will now trigger the stored action when scanned.
