How to Use the Online Teleprompter
- Paste your script: Type or paste the text you want to read into the script box. Blank lines create paragraph breaks, so leave a gap between the sections you want to pause at.
- Set speed and text size: Choose a scroll speed, font size and line height in the settings panel. A pace of 80 to 120 pixels per second is a natural reading speed for most speakers, and you can fine-tune it live while scrolling.
- Start the prompter: Press Start teleprompter. The text waits at the top until you press Play or hit Space. Turn the camera on if you want the eye-line preview behind the text.
- Read and record: Read while the text scrolls toward the reading line. Use the Up and Down arrow keys to adjust the speed mid-take, R to jump back to the top, and Esc to return to the editor for another pass.
